This time of the year, the greenhouse begins to come alive with shipments of starter plants arriving almost daily. One of my bigger perennial shipments comes truck freight and we need to unload it with the forklift!
Once they are unloaded, they almost fill one bench in my greenhouse. It’s fun to see what I ordered way back last summer. Sometimes I’m even surprised at what arrives…I forget that I’ve ordered some things! I also want you to notice how empty the greenhouse looks compared to when you arrive in the spring. I just opened greenhouse #3 this week. It will be amazing at how fast it changes over the next few weeks. I’ll try to post updates for you to see as it fills with plants.
Here is an updated photo of the seedlings I mentioned in an earlier post. Look how much they have grown! I’ve already been transplanting some things.
